How Laser Hair Removal Works, and Why It Is Booked as a Course
Laser hair removal uses focused light to target pigment in the hair. The light is converted into heat at the follicle, helping to reduce future hair growth.
Hair follicles respond most effectively while they are in their active growth phase. Because only a portion of the hair in an area is in this phase at one time, a single session cannot treat every follicle. This is why treatments are planned as a course, with appointments spaced several weeks apart.
